Once a server is connected to Clustermin, you can execute commands, manage its files, automate scripts on it. To get started, please create a server at your server providers. Clustermin recommends DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr as well as other server providers.
After signing up and logging in, click the Connect a server button, it shows you the form below:
You just need to enter the IP address, username (often root) and password, then click Connect.
If you check the box Create user, it will try to create a separated clustermin user instead of using your current user. Your current user must be root or have sudo privilege to do that.
Do not worry, it will not store your password. It will create a secured SSH key with a passphrase, and connect to your server using only SSH key.
When the server is added, you will see its details including memory, disk size, operating system name, and version.
You can now execute your commands and manage your files.
